One of the most reputed Durga Pujas in Kolkata is Dum Dum Park Tarun Sangha. They have mesmerized the devotees every year with their amazing pandals and fantastic Durga Ma idols. Durga Puja 2024 is far away. However, on the occasion of Ram Navami, the Puja preparations began for this Durga Puja Committee.

On behalf of the Puja Committee, Sayantan Kanjilal said that Ram Chandra began the Durga puja as we celebrate it now. And from then onwards it has been called AkalaBodhana. This means untimely awakening. Hence the puja committee has begun the preparations for this special day.

The theme this year is Muktodhara.

This is the 39^th year of the Durga Puja celebrations.

The Khuti Puja was also completed on this special day. Minister Sujit Bose, Robin Ganguly, Sunanda Mitra, Sayantan Kanjilal, Souro Ghosh, Debi Prasad Chatterjee, Kalyan Rudra, Tarun Basu, Ronen Roy and other eminent guests graced the Khuti Puja.

Anirban Das has developed the theme of the puja in 2024.

Tribal dance and fireworks completed the Khuti Puja celebrations.
