The poster launch of the upcoming English short film An Evening …In My Life took place recently in the presence of director Sanat Dutta, actor Samrat Mukherji, story/ screenplay writer Debolina Das and others.

The story of the film is about Avinav and Sheetal who were in love once upon a time. But now they are married to other people. The story shows how they plan to meet each other after ten years and what happens next.

Speaking at the event, Samrat Mukherji said “People have limited attention span now and short films will be the next big thing. People now are more interested in watching films travelling from work to home or vice versa. Who has the time to watch a long duration film now? Hence short films will be the future”.

The music of the film is by Rupendu Basu.

The film will be going to the various film festivals before it is released for the audience.
