The premiere of Kulpi took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.

Barshali Chatterjee directed the film.

The story revolves around Kuldip Roy Chowdhury, known as ‘Kulpi’ due to his diminutive stature. With veteran actor Rajatabha Dutta playing Kulpi’s father, Kalipdada, the film gradually highlights a beautiful father-son bond while depicting Kulpi’s struggles. Payel Sarkar plays Kankona, who is Kulpi’s love interest. Biswanath Basu’s character, Hilton Braganza, tries to subjugate Kulpi and force him into a pre-determined order of existence suitable for ‘Dwarfs.’ The story revolves around Kulpi’s quest to overcome these obstacles.

Sabitri Chatterjee, Rajatava Dutta, Paayel Sarkar, Protyay, and others will be seen in important roles in the film.

Shree Pritam, Shovan Ganguly, and Supratip Bhattacharya composed the music for the film. The background music is by Ashu Chakraborty.

‘Kulpi’ is produced by Bidyut Das of BD Film Productions. Barshali Chatterjee herself has penned the story and script of ‘Kulpi’.

Kulpi is running at single screens and multiplexes in the city.
