Rangrez- A Group Art Exhibition of 35 National and International Artists Organized in Kolkata

Rangrez was a group Art Exhibition organized by gallery ‘Easel Stories’. Rangrez brought together thirty five artists from India and abroad showcasing their work at Kolkata’s prestigious Indian Council for Cultural Relations.

The idea behind the show was to bring together art and artists from all over India and abroad under one roof. The aim was also to make works of established as well as upcoming artists displayed together for the viewer to see.

The show boasted of big names in the art world, such as Niladri Paul, Fawad Tamkanat, Subrata Gangopadhyay, Bratin Khan, Umakant Kanade and G Subramanian along with under-recognized talents such as Arpan Bhowmik, Shuvankar Maitra, Sanjay Tikkal and Sandeep Chhatraband.

The opening of the show was done by eminent artist Shri Shuvaprasanna Bhattacharya and Mr Utsav Parekh.

Other artists participating in the exhibition were Swati Pasari, Bhaskar Rao, Kavita Sachdev, Nidhi Samami, P. Gnana, Vinay Kumar Kasa, Pintu Sikdar, Sarbani Bhattacharya,Sonia Adlakha and other renowned artists.

The show was on display at the Bengal Gallery and Jamini Roy Gallery (ICCR) from 26th Nov to 2nd December.
