Friendship is one of the best relations in the world. Following the super success of previous shows – ‘Maa’, ‘Potol Kumar Gaanwala’ and others, another show on children has begun on Star Jalsha. Children as protagonists are always a delight for the small screen audience. And hence this show- Guriya Jekhane Guddu Sekhane.

Star Jalsha’s new serial presents a story of two orphans, Guriya and Guddu, who fight against all obstacles together to fulfill each other’s dreams. They grow up together in an orphanage in North Bengal. When Guriya meets with an accident and is diagnosed with a serious illness, Guddu decides to unite her with her family, making all ends meet. The story revolves around how Guddu, with all his might and love for Guriya, goes out of his way, and embarks upon a journey to find Guriya’s family in a faraway city. Will Guddu succeed in his endeavor to find Guriya’s family and save her life?

The show comes from the biggest production house in Bengal, SVF, who has produced some monumental hits for Star Jalsha, like MAA, Bojhena Se Bojhena, Potol Kumar Gaanwala and many more.

The ensemble cast of Guriya Jekhane Guddu Sekhane comprises of two fresh child actors, Pritha (who plays Guriya) and Abhirup (who plays Guddu), along with ace actors like Miss Jojo (Romila Chetri), Pushpita (Nitmala) and Bhola Tamang (Mr. Bhanja).

The music has been composed by Upali Chattopadhyay and Sobuj Asish.
