The Taekwondo Association of West Bengal organized two groundbreaking events at Salt Lake: the “West Bengal State Instructor Seminar” and the “West Bengal State Kyorugi Referee Seminar”, in a vivid celebration of Taekwondo’s passion and tradition. The Asian Taekwondo Union (ATU) and World Taekwondo (WT) both acknowledge the Taekwondo Association of West Bengal, which is associated with India Taekwondo (IT). These seminars, which were presided over by Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy and International Master Ruma Roy Chowdhury, were a concerted attempt to raise the bar for Taekwondo in West Bengal.

For those who wanted to officiate games with accuracy and justice, the West Bengal State Kyorugi Referee Seminar was a vital resource, led by National Referee Debashish Dutta. The participants were thrown into an extensive program that included interactive workshops, real-world demonstrations, and theoretical lectures all aimed at improving their comprehension of match judging. The session was enhanced by Debashish Dutta’s extensive experience and knowledge, which gave attendees the confidence and integrity to successfully negotiate the challenges of refereeing.

Concurrently, the West Bengal State Instructor Seminar gave teachers a chance to improve their methods of instruction and motivate the upcoming Taekwondo practitioners. Under the direction of Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy and International Master Ruma Roy Chowdhury, this seminar promoted cooperation and education. Instructors developed their abilities in curriculum development, student motivation, and effective teaching tactics through interactive talks, practical training sessions, and cooperative exercises. This laid the foundation for a lively and dynamic Taekwondo community in West Bengal.

The success of both seminars was greatly aided by the guidance of Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy and International Master Ruma Roy Chowdhury. Their inspirational leadership and steadfast dedication to the expansion and advancement of Taekwondo in West Bengal motivated practitioners to pursue greatness and exemplify the discipline, respect, and perseverance that are fundamental to Martial arts.

Participants left the seminars with a fresh sense of direction and a greater understanding of the intricate web of Taekwondo’s customs and teachings. Equipped with their recently acquired knowledge and abilities, they will be able to contribute significantly to the development of Taekwondo in West Bengal and elsewhere, guaranteeing that the legacy of these seminars will go on for many years to come.
