10th Edition of Bangla Interventional Therapeutics 2020 Announced
In the presence of Prof Dr Afzalur Rahman, Prof Dr Rabin Chakraborty, Jon George and others, a press meet was organized to announce the annual conference of Bangla Interventional Therapeutics (BIT) of 2020. The conference will continue till 2nd February at Novotel Kolkata Hotel and Residences.
This is the tenth edition of the medical conference. This year American College of Cardiology and Europe group EURO PCR have joined this conference.
The theme of the conference is Innovation and Technology in Today’s Heart Care, Health Economics.
500 delegates from different parts of India, Bangladesh, USA, UK, Nepal will be attending the conference.
Speaking at the occasion, Prof Dr Rabin Chakraborty said “Many patients discontinue with their medicines and again go back to leading an unhealthy lifestyle after a bypass surgery or any other heart surgery. However one should remember that even after doing a surgery, one needs to follow certain steps so that they can remain well in the long run”.
Topics like coronary interventions, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart disease interventions, device therapy in heart failure, sudden cardiac arrest, leadless pacemaker and others will be discussed in the course of the medical seminar.
Diabetes and Heart Diseases is a highlight in 2020 with special focus on the management issues.
