2nd Year Of The YCF Scholarship Program 2026

The Yash Chopra Foundation (YCF), the philanthropic arm of Yash Raj Films, announced the YCF Scholarship Program 2026, commemorating the initiative’s second year and upholding its dedication to assisting children from Hindi film industry families in pursuing their goals of higher education.
Children of YCF Saathi members and registered Hindi film industry workers, many of whom are essential to the film industry’s ecosystem, are the target audience for the scholarship program. Each student will receive up to Rs 5 lakh in financial aid from YCF, enabling them to pursue their aspirations. With selection based on academic merit and financial need, the initiative allows worthy students to pursue undergraduate and graduate studies at accredited Indian universities for the academic year 2026–2027.
Film Studies, Media & Communication, Animation & Visual Effects, Cinematography, Direction, and Visual Arts are just a few of the professional and creative fields in which the program supports students. Additionally, postgraduate courses in a variety of professional fields, including engineering, medical and paramedical sciences, business and management, law, and information technology, are being introduced this year. The scholarship, which can be applied to any government-recognized, AICTE-approved, or NAAC-accredited university in India, will pay for tuition for qualified courses. This will help lower financial barriers and make higher education opportunities more accessible.
According to data from the YCF Saathi survey, more than 60% of families in the film industry struggle to pay for higher education. The scholarship seeks to close this disparity and open doors for sustained economic stability.
Successful applicants will receive financial aid under this program, with fees paid directly to their respective institutions. Selected candidates will go through a structured, multi-stage evaluation process that includes screening and individual interviews. Candidates who meet the requirements may apply via YCF’s official channels, adhering to a predetermined application procedure from registration to final selection.
