Dr Shashi Panja, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal graced the ICC Social Impact Awards and Summit which was organized recently.

The awards were given in 10 different categories. Over 70 projects applied for the different categories and 52 shortlisted projects were awarded prizes. Some of the winners were – SBI Foundation in Employment Enhancing Vocational Skills Category, NMDC Limited & Indian Tea Association in Healthcare Category, Dalmia Bharat Foundation in Empowering the Rural Population Category, ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth in Promoting Gender Equality & Women Empowerment Category and others.

Dr Shashi Panja, also expressed interest in the projects submitted for the awards so that they can be implemented in the State.
