Bengal Shorts International Competitive Short Film Festival On 1st, 2nd And 3rd July
Short films are in vogue now. Many filmmakers are opting for this style as one can capture the audience’s attention for a short time and also narrate a compelling story. Understanding the popularity of the short films, Rostrum will be organizing a Bengal Shorts International Competitive Short Film Festival on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of July.
The two organizers of the film festival are director Sayan Bandopadhyay, Anirban Maity, and California-based writer Monidipa Das Bhattacharya.
The guests who will be present at the inauguration ceremony are Joy Sengupta, Sudip Mukherjee, Joy Sarkar, Srijato, Swarup Biswas, and others.
From various countries, short films made by amateur and experienced directors have been submitted. Out of the 250 films submitted, 40 have been selected. Out of these forty films, the first, second, and third best short films will be selected. Nigeria, Spain, America, Bangladesh, and Iran are some of the countries from which short films have been sent.
There were no charges for sending the film or for screening the film.
Struggle for existence and many other topics are the subjects of these short films.
The audience can watch these amazing films for free. They just require an e-pass for watching the films.
