This year, Durga Puja in Banglore will feature a variety of female purohits, female Dhakis, Durga idols from Kumar Tuli, as well as a full-fledged cultural extravaganza.

The entire event has been conceptualized and will be executed by Kauushik Events.

Some of the famous puja associations of Bangalore like Sarathi Socio-Cultural Trust, Begur Bengal Cultural Association, North Bangalore Bengali Association, Anandamoyee, and RT Nagar Sarbojanin Durgapuja Samity have come forward in association with Kauushik Events to turn this idea into reality.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa champion Singer Arkadeep Mishra will incorporate Bengali folklore or Baul sounds with the Durga Puja celebrations taking place on the stage of Bangalore’s cultural centers. He will dance to well-known folk tunes like “Dil ki Doya”, “Bahero”, “Ma eseche Ghore”, “Bolo bolo Dugga maiki”, and many others. For the first time, Bangalore’s less well-known Durga Puja pandals will host some folk-based cultural events.

Renowned singers Dipayan Banerjee from Sa Re Ga Ma Pa including Sirsha Rakshit, Sujoy Bhowmik, and Manasi Ghosh will also perform in various pandals of Bengaluru.

Kaushik Rahul Ghosh will be organizing this entire program.

It is commendable that Kauushik Events and the Bangalore Puja Committees are making this effort to give the Durga Puja a fresh feel.
