Season 2 Of Aajker Annapurna To Fulfill Business Dreams Of Women Of Bengal
With Season 2 of the Aajker Annapurna show, in collaboration with Zee Bangla, Sunrise Pure, the market leader in West Bengal for branded spices, is back. The campaign’s goal is to inspire and support culinary lovers among women in Kolkata who want to create their own food businesses and realize their entrepreneurial goals. West Bengal has one of the state’s fastest-growing cooking platforms for women entrepreneurs.
The organizers have so far had a fantastic response for registration and are eager for further participation. In order to narrow down the top 50 candidates, a jury made up of members of the Zee Bangla Rannaghar team will assess the applicants’ recipes based on criteria such as culinary expertise, distinctiveness, originality, and commitment to growing their food business.
The top 50 selected candidates will receive four weeks of culinary and business instruction from experts in the field to help them create their companies and home delivery models. All of the nominees will then receive training on how to make engaging culinary films, which will be posted on Sunrise Pure’s YouTube channel. The number of likes a participant receives on the platform and the originality of their culinary offerings will be taken into account when selecting the top 10 competitors. These competitors will then take part in the grand finale’s cook-off.
Along with support to create their own online profiles and increase awareness on Zee Bangla and Sunrise Pure social media platforms, the three winners will also earn cash prizes totaling Rs 1 lakh each. The winners will moreover have the chance to directly audition for Didi No. 1, a reality program on the channel where gifted women from various regions of West Bengal battle against one another in a number of enjoyable jobs for a chance to earn numerous rewards.
Over 4000 women submitted applications for the first season of Aajker Annapurna, which was a success. Of those, 50 were selected for further training by industry professionals to develop their different enterprises. Popular chef Sushanta Sengupta and well-known actress Ms. Aparajita Auddy presided over the competition’s judging during the previous season. After careful screening and several rounds, Ms. Shahala Ahmed was declared the contest’s winner. In addition to the $1,000 award, Sunrise Pure Spices helped Ms. Shahla renovate her restaurant with new goods and register it with meal delivery apps to increase the number of customers.
