The set visit of Aakash Aath’s new mega serial ‘Mishtu’- a unique tale of Love & Happiness took place recently.

The lead pair, Ankhi Ghosh & Mainak Dhol along with Aninda Chakraborty, Srabani Banik, Joyetri Chowdhury, Ashmita Baidya, Alokananda Guha, Mayukh Chatterjee, and others graced the occasion.

Mishtu is loved by everyone in Patajhora village. She keeps everyone entertained in the village with her activities. Her only flaw is she forgets things. Her father understands that despite Mishtu forgetting things, she has a heart of gold. Will he be able to marry off his daughter? This thought troubles him daily.

Ujaan is a psychiatrist who comes to the village. He gets angry initially due to Mishtu’s forgetful nature. However, he understands her later. Will he be able to cure her forgetfulness?

Ankhi Ghosh plays Mishtu while Mainak Dhol plays Ujaan.

“Mishtu is a bubbly, cheerful, and sweet girl. She is a fun-loving girl. Her only flaw is her forgetfulness. Everyone loves her because of her nature. She has a great bonding with her father. I am not as active as Mishtu. However, I have the tendency to forget things though not so much like Mishtu. We have shot mostly outdoor scenes till now. It is a huge challenge due to the weather. However, the experience has been good till now” said Ankhi Ghosh.

Mainak said “For playing this role of Ujaan, I have taken inspiration from Shahrukh Khan’s film Dear Zindagi. I have also watched many videos on YouTube to understand this role. It has been a great experience till now”.

Shib babu is played by Aninda Chakraborty, Aparna by Srabani Banik, Arati by Joyetri Chowdhury, Sukanya by Ashmita Baidya, Diya by Alokananda Guha, Dollar by Mayukh Chatterjee will be seen in other important characters in this new mega serial.

The serial is directed by Manish Ghosh.

The story is by Amitabha Bhattacharya.

The screenplay is by Promita.

The dialogues is by Anindita Nag.

Mishtu is aired from Monday to Saturday at 8 pm only on Aakash Aath.
