The trailer Launch of “AADOR” (The Dearest), directed by Debdut Ghosh took place recently in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.
Kamaleswar Mukherjee and Rupa Ganguly were the special guests at the event.
The well-known tale “ADORINI” by renowned author Sri Prabhat Kumar Mukhopadhyay serves as the basis for the movie. Since the writer turned 150 this year, we are honored to release the movie as an homage.
The protagonist of “AADOR” is a young female elephant, and the story takes place in the town of Kharkai in Tripura.
The cast of the film consists of Rajatava Dutta, Tulika Basu, Pradip Chakraborty, Basabdatta Chattopadhay, Biplab Bandhopadhay, Manashi Sinha, Tamal Roychowdhury, Basanti Chatterjee, Khagendra Nath Das, Monoj Ojha, Parijat Choudhury, Pandit Kumar Bose, Raja Bhattacharjee, Fayaj Alam, Piu Mukhopadhay, Allarakha Kalawant, Jotirmoy Banerjee, Tapas Roychowdhury, Sabyasachi Banerjee, Amar Nag, Apratim Sarkar, Muskan Khan.
The film has a special appearance by Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Jaymala as Aador.
