Sourav Ganguly Enters The World Of Fashion With New Brand- Souragya

Premium ethnic wear brand Souragya was launched in the presence of cricket legend Sourav Ganguly and Suman Saha, CXO, Head of House of Brands, MJIPL.
With this initiative, Sourav Ganguly will be expanding his presence in the world of fashion.
The brand blends Indian craftsmanship with modern design. It offers an elevated approach to ethnic wear.
Looking handsome in a Punjabi and Pyjama, Sourav Ganguly made heads turn with his style and confidence.
“When Suman contacted me that he wanted to bring out such a collection, I was thinking whether I would be able to do it. I have very little time as I have to tackle so many jobs. However, I then thought that this would be a good way to bring the culture and heritage in front of the customers. Traditional techniques will be available at affordable prices so that people from the city and the rural areas can afford them. I want everyone to wear this during the Durga Puja and look their very best,” said Sourav Ganguly.

Souragya’s collection is a great tribute to the cultural heritage and celebration of its tapestry. It consists of finely crafted garments, great craftsmanship, and contemporary tailoring.
Sourav also added that his preferred style during the Pujas is to wear a good Punjabi and Pyjama and a traditional slipper. He mentioned that he likes to keep it simple and comfortable. “As you grow old, you tend to like traditional clothes more. That is what has happened with me. You will never see me in anything other than traditional clothes during the Pujas,” said Sourav.
The brand will launch 100 styles and will further increase the selection in the future.

Kantha embroideries, Tant and Jamdani weaves, and Batik printing techniques are all part of the collection.
Traditional kurta with mayurpankh dhoti, sherwanis with dhotis, churidars, tapering pants, and salwars, along with kurta sets, are all part of the Souragya collection.
Souragya is available on the Myntra app and website.
