To offer thorough professional training in acting, modeling, filmmaking, photography, and cinematography, BIA established the School of Performing Arts. The academy, which was situated in Chinar Park, had a large 11,000-square-foot campus with state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technical infrastructure that were crucial for developing future professionals in the industry.

To start the admissions process, BIA organized a unique workshop on film acting led by National Award-winning director Atanu Ghosh. One of India’s most renowned filmmakers gave aspiring actors the unique chance to learn the craft and subtleties of on-screen performance. Ghosh, the director of well-known movies like Mayurakshi, Angshumaner Chhobi, Abby Sen, Bini Sutoy, and Sesh Pata, provided participants with unmatched assistance and understanding of the film industry. After the training was over, candidates who had attended were enrolled.

Speaking about the academy, Atanu Ghosh said, “It is very important for film schools to have a big space. Filmmaking is all about space and time. Without a good space, it is not possible to teach students properly. I have asked Iban and Tuhinaa to bring in those people who are actively directing films. They will be able to guide the students better”.

The first academic session will start in January.

The academy will be led by Director Iban Banerjea, an international model, along with Chief Mentor Tuhinaa Pandey, former Mrs. India title holder and seasoned administrator.

Together, they hope to create a school that develops potential and equips students for careers in the real world.

BIA also made sure that students graduating from the academy had access to important creation possibilities and initial placement support through its own production company, Being Iban Entertainment.

There will be placement assistance for all the students.

The fees for the different courses are as follows:

The six-month Photography course costs Rs 30,000.

The twelve-month filmmaking course costs Rs 1,15,000.

The six-month cinematography course costs Rs 50,000.

The six-month acting course costs Rs 30,000.

The Modelling course of three months costs Rs 20,000.

The seven-month acting and modelling course costs Rs 45,000.
