TVS Motor’s EV scooter range now starts at Rs 49,999 (ex-showroom Delhi, including PM e-Drive) with the addition of TVS Orbiter V1 and Battery-As-A-Service. While providing consumers with long-term battery assurance and peace of mind, the BaaS model reduces the initial cost. For Rs 84,500 (ex-showroom Delhi, including PM e-Drive), customers who prefer the TVS Orbiter V1 without BaaS can buy it.

The 1.8 kWh battery-powered TVS Orbiter V1 is intended to make daily electric commuting easier and more useful for city riders. The TVS Orbiter range is now offered in two versions: the 1.8 kWh V1 and the 3.1 kWh V2.

With a certified IDC range of 86 km and a 0–80% charging time of about 2 hours and 20 minutes, the TVS Orbiter V1 is well-suited for daily mobility needs and is designed for practical city commuting. Convenience and rider experience are improved by the TVS Orbiter V1’s many cutting-edge features, which include a connected mobile app, a front LED headlamp with visor, and a colored LCD cluster with an incoming call display.

Customers can now subscribe to battery usage rather than paying the entire battery cost up front, thanks to TVS Motor’s introduction of BaaS across its EV portfolio.

This model helps consumers better understand the initial purchase and ongoing operating costs of an EV by separating the cost of the vehicle from the cost of the battery. TVS Motor is enabling more flexibility in EV ownership and increasing accessibility for a broader range of customers by implementing BaaS throughout the portfolio.
