Great Focus On Mental Well-Being At 5th Happiness Fair 2026

In honor of the International Day of Happiness, Monoshij, Techno India Group’s mental health platform, held the Fifth Edition of Happiness Fair 2026. Students, faculty, mental health advocates, and cultural performers enthusiastically participated in the event, which was intended to foster emotional well-being, inclusivity, and a sense of community.
An engaging panel discussion on “Unfolding Identity: Conversations on Belonging and Happiness” was organized.
It featured Dr Smaranika Tripathi, Psychologist at Manipal Hospitals, Mr Sudarshan Chakraborty, Renowned Dancer and Choreographer, and Prof Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson, Techno India Group and Founder of Monoshij.
Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, co-chairperson of Techno India Group and founder of Monoshij, started the Happiness Fair as a novel and important social initiative. This year, a lively campus-wide celebration was planned, with social media and well-being as a central theme.
A Happiness Walk, which received tremendous support from more than 200 students, a Kite Flying Session, a Skit, a Debate on Happiness in the Age of Algorithms, band performances, and dance performances—particularly an amazing Bihu Dance by Techno India University students—were among the many attractions that were part of the all-day celebration of joy and happiness. Every activity was chosen to emphasize the value of creativity, interpersonal relationships, and mindfulness in fostering mental health.

The LGBTQ+ Ramp Walk, which promoted inclusivity and self-expression, was one of the most influential parts. The bold and proud display of LGBTQ+ fashion served as a potent reminder of identity, creativity, and the bravery to be oneself. The walk honored diversity and reaffirmed Techno India Group’s dedication to creating a campus that is secure, encouraging, and empowering for everyone.
The institution’s commitment to mental health awareness, emotional wellness, and the celebration of individuality was once again reaffirmed by Monoshij’s Happiness Fair 2026. Happiness increases when all identities are recognized, valued, and celebrated. The event concluded with a powerful message.
