Enjoy A Special Experience At Kenilworth Hotel’s Poila Boisakh Buffet

As the city gears up to welcome the Bengali New Year, Kenilworth Hotel has announced its highly anticipated Poila Boishakh buffet at its signature restaurant, Aromas. Scheduled for April 15, 2026, the buffet menu promises an immersive cultural experience featuring traditional Bengali delicacies and live musical performances.
The specially curated menu for both lunch and dinner is a tribute to authentic Bangaliana.

Guests will be welcomed with refreshing traditional drinks like Beler Sorbot and Aam Panna. The spread features an extensive variety of starters, including Echor Chop, Gondhoraj Chicken Tikka, and the classic Dimer Devil.
The main course showcases the crown jewels of Bengali cuisine. Seafood lovers can indulge in Sorse Ilish, Pabdar Jhol, and Eachor Chingri. Meat enthusiasts have much to look forward to with the heritage Chicken Dak Bungalow and the quintessential Kosha Mangso. For those preferring vegetarian fare, traditional favorites like Bamun Barir Sukto, Doi Potol, and Sabuj Aloo Posto will be served alongside Basanti Pulao and Cholar Dal Narkel Diya.

A highlight of the feast is the live stations, which bring the street flavors of Kolkata to a luxury setting. Guests can enjoy Kolkata Phucka and a unique Mutton Pantheras prepared in the traditional Anglo-Indian style. The meal is further complemented by an array of eight different bhajas (fried items), unique bhartas like Hilsa Lej Bharta, and a selection of six distinct chutneys, including Mourola Macher Tok.
No Bengali New Year celebration is complete without desserts. The dessert spread is a testament to Bengal’s sweet tooth, featuring Rosogolla, Bhapa Doi, Gurer Talsash Sandesh, Kheer Kadam, Sitabhog, Kalojam, and Kesariya Malai Roll.

The buffet is priced at Rs 1999+ GST for adults and Rs 1199+ GST for children (ages 9 to 11). Set against the elegant backdrop of Aromas, the event aims to provide a festive ambiance where families can celebrate the start of the year 1433 in true royal style.
