In Kolkata, TATA Starbucks opens its first Starbucks Reserve® outlet, which is also the company’s first rooftop location in India. It offers the city a sophisticated take on coffee as well as the familiar warmth and connection of the Starbucks experience.

Starbucks Reserve® provides an immersive coffee experience by showcasing artisanal brewing and rare coffees in carefully planned areas that are influenced by each location. Starbucks Reserve® is the brand’s most exclusive and carefully chosen expression of coffee craftsmanship, with only a few locations across the globe.

In addition to showcasing rare, small-lot coffees from around the globe that are brewed using techniques like pour-over, chemex, and siphon, Starbucks Reserve® in Kolkata will also launch a carefully chosen menu that includes both traditional favorites and locally inspired options.

The Kolkata Chicken Chaap Pizza is a modern take on a well-known local favorite. Along with freshly baked breads like Multigrain Seed, Ciabatta, and Rye, the menu also features Danish pastries like Mushroom Feta, Key Lime Pie, and Apple Pie, as well as a variety of croissant sandwiches, pizzas, and sourdough toasts that go well with Reserve® coffee.

A carefully chosen selection of Starbucks Reserve® signature drinks, such as the decadent Vanilla Bean Latte and the coffee-forward Shakerato Bianco over Ice, complements the menu. Every drink is designed to highlight the richness, texture, and personality of fine coffee in both lighthearted and sophisticated ways.

Warm wood tones, bronze accents, layered textures, and geometric patterns inspired by Bengali art are some of the ways that the store’s design reflects Kolkata’s artistic and cultural heritage. This results in a space that is shaped by coffee craft, detail, and the city’s rhythm, while the rooftop location adds a unique layer to the Reserve® experience, making it feel both immersive and memorable for customers.
