Kabi Pranam 2026 was a unique cultural celebration held in honor of Bhabna Nritya Shiksha Kendra’s 11th Annual Celebration. The event honored Kazi Nazrul Islam and Rabindranath Tagore, two renowned literary figures from Bengal, with the following theme:

“Nobo Robi Kirone Anjali Loho Mor

Smarane Rabindranath, Monane Nazrul”

A lavish performance of Rabindranath Tagore’s classic dance drama Shyama, starring a group of renowned dancers and artists, was the evening’s high point.

Renowned Kathak dancer Sreya Das played the title role of Shyama. Renowned dancer Abhirup Sengupta played Uttiya, while well-known actor Rubel Das played Bajrasen.

Bapi Sadhukha was the director and conceptualizer of the entire production, whose artistic vision shaped this distinctive cultural offering.

Actress Sweta Bhattacharya made a special guest appearance to add even more glitz to the festivities.

Renowned recitation artist Madhumita Bose hosted the event and led the audience on a cultural tour.

Through artistic brilliance and moving performances, Kabi Pranam 2026 promised to be an unforgettable fusion of poetry, music, dance, and drama, honoring the lasting legacy of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam.
