An Amazing Khuti Pujo Of Rajdanga Amara Kojon Kalyan Samity

The festive countdown to Durga Puja 2026 has officially begun at Rajdanga Amara Kojon Kalyan Samity, as the club performed its annual Khuti Pujo in an atmosphere filled with devotion, festivity, and cultural enthusiasm. The auspicious ceremony witnessed an extraordinary assemblage of celebrities, public figures, artists, and social personalities, making it one of the most talked-about Khuti Pujo celebrations in the city.
The event was graced by actors Bhaskar Banerjee and Argha Mukherjee, Indian Idol Season 5 fame Manisha Karmakar, singer Debolina Nandy, Debasish Dhar, Hon’ble MLA of Sonarpur Uttar, painter Subrata Gangopadhyay, social worker Keya Ghosh, Club President Nirmal Mukherjee, Vice President and film director Anirban Paria, Chairman Sandeep Banerjee, and Chief Patron Sudip Sarkar.

The appointment of renowned theme artist Sri Purnendu De, who has been tasked with creating the club’s Durga Puja 2026, is this year’s biggest draw. Although the theme has not been revealed, the organizers hinted that guests can anticipate an artistic presentation that combines modern creativity with Bengal’s cultural heritage, guaranteeing an unforgettable visual experience.

Speaking at the event, the organizers stated that Durga Puja is a celebration of art, community, tradition, and social harmony, and that Rajdanga Amara Kojon Kalyan Samity has always held this belief. Through creative craftsmanship, poignant storytelling, and flawless hospitality for the thousands of guests anticipated during the festive days, this year’s edition seeks to elevate the standard.

The Khuti Pujo concluded with Vedic rituals and prayers seeking the blessings of Goddess Durga for the successful completion of the festival. Rajdanga Amara Kojon Kalyan Samity has once again indicated its intention to present one of Kolkata’s most anticipated and artistically significant Durga Pujas of 2026, with formal preparations now underway.
