BMW India has introduced the highly anticipated new BMW 7 Series lineup in the country. As a result, the BMW flagship sedan will be offered in both petrol and all-electric powertrain options. The all-electric performance model, the BMW i7 M70, will also be offered to customers in India, positioning it as the most powerful BMW 7 Series ever built.

Superstar Ranveer Singh revealed the new 7. The exclusive launch, designed as a tribute to dedication, united two major icons, one representing the peak of modern luxury and the other the pinnacle of cinematic excellence. On this occasion, Ranveer Singh was unveiled as the Brand Voice for BMW India, a partnership that infuses the 7’s commanding authority with a bold, modern energy.

Crafted with passion and perfected in design, the BMW 7 Series sedan has become a global leader in innovation and technology since its debut in 1977. Every generation has injected new energy into its time through pioneering safety features, transformative operating ideas, and digital realms that established new benchmarks.

Alongside the 7 Series, the new BMW i7 will also be manufactured locally at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai. Thus, India joins Germany as the only other country where the i7 is manufactured locally. The new BMW i7 M70 will be offered as a fully assembled vehicle.

The cars can be booked at BMW India dealerships, and deliveries will commence from October 2026.

The cars are available in different colors like Tanzanite Blue, Carbon Black, Mineral White, Oxide Grey, and Vancouver Green. Black Sapphire roof paintwork is available with Oxide Grey, Aventurine Red, Vancouver Green, Tanzanite Blue or Dravit Grey exterior.

Frozen paint options available include BMW i7 M70 – Individual Frozen Deep Grey, Frozen Space Silver and Frozen Tanzanite Blue.

Customers can also choose the optionally available dual-tone paintwork. Oxide Grey roof paintwork is available with Black Sapphire, Aventurine Red, Frozen Tanzanite Blue, or Dravit Grey exterior. BMW Individual Leather ‘Merino’ upholstery comes in Tartufo and Smoke White.
