JK Dairy Introduces Two New Variants Of Paneer In Kolkata

JK Dairy, under JK Organisation, has introduced TOP Malai Paneer and TOP High Protein Paneer at major hypermarkets in Kolkata. The launch combines two different consumer preferences: the classic appeal of full malai paneer and a higher-protein choice for those looking to boost their daily protein intake.
Through this launch, JK Dairy seeks to promote thoughtful decisions regarding paneer, helping consumers better understand the difference between traditional dairy paneer and its non-dairy substitutes. The brand’s message focuses on encouraging shoppers to pay closer attention to product identity, ingredients, and nutritional information.
TOP Malai Paneer is designed for consumers who appreciate the rich, creamy flavor typical of traditional malai paneer. Ideal for family meals and beloved classics, it provides a flexible choice for dishes like paneer butter masala, palak paneer, and paneer bhurji.
According to the company’s product details, TOP High Protein Paneer provides 56 grams of protein per 200-gram pack, equivalent to 28 grams per 100 grams. Formulated for those focused on protein intake, it uses a well-known vegetarian ingredient that easily fits into curries, salads, wraps, and grilled dishes.
Speaking about the launch, Mr. Partha Biswas, Director of JK Foods Limited, said, “Kolkata marks an important step in our journey to bring TOP paneer to more Indian households. With Full Malai and High Protein options, we are catering to both the pleasure of traditional dishes and the rising focus on daily nutrition. We also aim to encourage consumers to make thoughtful decisions about the paneer they purchase”.
The Kolkata rollout lays the groundwork for TOP’s broader footprint in the city, integrating modern retail access with future growth into neighborhood stores and digital shopping platforms.
