Situated on the Ground Floor of Quest Mall, the boutique presents an immersive tribute to modern Rome, blending Italian artisanship with Kolkata’s vibrant artistic and architectural heritage. Drawing inspiration from Bvlgari’s historic flagship on Via Condotti, the space honors the Maison’s Roman roots through enduring design elements, luxurious materials, and an ambiance that marries elegance with warmth. The Travertino portals flank the entrance as a tribute to Rome’s lasting architectural legacy, while the iconic imperial green pelmet adorned with the Bvlgari logo in Roman capitals echoes one of the Maison’s most distinctive design elements and underscores the enduring legacy of ancient Rome.

Inside, the boutique features sculptural counters made of Travertino and onyx marble, designed with inspiration from Italian architect Carlo Scarpa, enhanced by fluted walls that reimagine the majesty of ancient Roman columns in a modern style. A striking Serpenti chandelier by Venini, handcrafted in Murano glass and featuring around 300 crystal rods, honors one of Bvlgari’s most iconic symbols, while curved display cases capture the warm radiance of a Roman sunset. Andy Warhol’s artwork adds a lively cultural touch to the interior, underscoring his well-known association with Bvlgari and his perception of the Maison’s jewelry as a medium of contemporary art.

The boutique also unveils a custom-designed artistic installation honoring the cultural exchange between Rome and Kolkata’s cultural core. A handcrafted piece merges maps of the two cities, linked by a flowing Serpenti shape that meanders through their urban settings, representing the exchange between their histories and cultures. Emerging from the Kolkata side is the Victoria Memorial, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and a symbol of its lasting significance as a hub of art, culture, and intellectual activity. Crafted by Milan-based artisans Pictalab and adorned with three-dimensional designs and gold leaf, the installation showcases Bvlgari’s skill in merging classical heritage, modern creativity, and outstanding craftsmanship.
