A Great Celebration Of Academic Excellence At Aarohan 2026

Desun Hospital hosted Aarohan 2026, its premier recognition event honoring youth achievement, perseverance, excellence, and resilience. To honor academic excellence and encourage young minds to pursue their goals with commitment and confidence, the event brought together students, parents, educators, and notable leaders from the fields of education and healthcare.
The word Aarohan means ascending or rising higher, signifying the path of development, success, and self-discovery that every young achiever takes. Through this program, Desun Hospital honors exceptional academic achievement while highlighting the value of tenacity, dedication, and lifelong learning.

Expanding its reach by bringing together a wider community of students, educators, parents, institutions, and thought leaders, Aarohan 2026 built on the success of its first edition in 2025, which was one of the first initiatives in Eastern India to bring together academic toppers and neurodiverse achievers on a common platform of recognition. The initiative aims to strengthen ties between educational institutions, students, parents, and the healthcare community while honoring exceptional academic achievers across various education boards.
The programme was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Sanku Bose, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Kolkata, and Dr Saumitra Bharadwaj, Group Director, Desun Hospital, along with educators, parents, and guests. The event honored students’ achievements and emphasized the value of identifying talent and developing future leaders.
Prof. (Dr.) Sanku Bose, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Kolkata, said, “Achieving academic success is about developing curiosity, resilience, discipline, and a lifelong love of learning, not just about getting good grades. Young achievers are encouraged to dream bigger, embrace innovation, and make significant contributions to society through platforms such as Aarohan. These programs contribute to the development of a culture that values success and develops future leaders with self-assurance and direction”.

Dr Saumitra Bharadwaj, Group Director, Desun Hospital, and an alumnus of Mayo College, Ajmer, Rajasthan, said, “As a top healthcare facility with JCI and NABH accreditation, Desun Hospital sees Aarohan as a continuation of its larger dedication to social development and community involvement. In addition to motivating students to keep aiming for excellence, the initiative seeks to establish a culture that values achievement, resilience, inclusion, and well-being equally. With this program, we hope to foster an atmosphere that celebrates success, encourages potential, and motivates upcoming leaders to set higher goals and accomplish more”.
Students, parents, and teachers all enthusiastically participated in the event, which made it a significant celebration of success, ambition, and the boundless potential of young minds. Aarohan 2026 reaffirmed the value of promoting excellence and honoring students who continue to motivate others with their commitment and achievements.
