The cultural heart of Kolkata beats faster whenever Bengal’s favorite history-hunting trio returns to the silver screen. Ahead of its official theatrical release, the city witnessed a star-studded grand premiere for Saptadingar Guptodhon, the highly anticipated fourth installment of the beloved Guptodhon franchise.

Directed by Dhrubo Banerjee and produced by SVF Entertainment, the event was a spectacular celebration attended by a galaxy of Tollywood stars, cast members, and prominent film personalities.

The atmosphere at the premiere venue was electric, beautifully capturing the spirit of a grand adventure. The cast and crew turned up in style, striking a balance between traditional elegance and modern sophistication.

Director Dhrubo Banerjee anchored the evening, arriving in an impeccably embroidered black and red kurta that exuded classic ethnic charm.

The film’s leads stole the spotlight. Arjun Chakrabarty chose a vibrant red kurta, looking every bit the charming, dependable Abir we love on screen.

Ishaa Saha, who plays Jhinuk, turned heads in a sharp, structured camel-colored pantsuit paired with a striped tie, striking a perfect balance of contemporary edge.

Amidst the flashes of cameras and the mingling of celebrities, the overriding sentiment of the night was one of high anticipation.

The Guptodhon franchise has safely carved a niche for itself as a responsible family entertainer that weaves historical intrigue with heart-racing adventure.

This time around, the narrative shifts from familiar historical monuments to the darker, murkier terrain of the Sundarbans. Sona Da (Abir Chatterjee), Abir, and Jhinuk are thrown into a complex web of folklore—weaving together the legends of Chand Sadagar and King Pratapaditya’s lost treasure.

Guests at the premiere lauded the film’s visual scale and the effortless, time-tested chemistry of the lead trio, noting that this installment dials up both the mystery and the stakes.

With its release on May 15, Saptadingar Guptodhon is poised to deliver yet another massive box-office success for Bengali cinema.
