One of the biggest and most extensive education expos in Eastern India, the JIS Education Expo 2026 – Kalyani Edition, hosted by JIS College of Engineering, ended on a high note. The one-day mega event, which was organized by JIS Group Educational Initiatives, was officially inaugurated by Sri Anupam Biswas, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly, Kalyani Assembly Constituency, Swami Durganathananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Kalyani, Prof. (Dr.) Partha Sarkar, Principal, JIS College of Engineering, along with Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group, and other senior officials of JIS Group.

The event reaffirmed the Group’s dedication to empowering young minds with well-informed academic and career choices by bringing together students, parents, educators, and academic leaders under one roof.

Students from schools in Nadia, North 24 Parganas, and Hooghly enthusiastically participated in the Expo, which gave them a special chance to investigate various options for higher education through professional interactions, individualized counseling, and hands-on learning sessions.

The Expo highlighted the wide range of educational opportunities provided by JIS Group Educational Initiatives at the diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. It featured 39 institutions, 185 academic programs, and a vibrant academic ecosystem of over 45,000 students.

Aspiring students and their parents were able to interact directly with academic experts, faculty, and admission counselors through interactive institutional stalls. These one-on-one conversations offered insightful information about future-ready learning pathways, career opportunities, admissions processes, and emerging disciplines.

The felicitation of over 1,200 Class X and Class XII toppers from 60 schools in Nadia, North 24 Parganas, and Hooghly was one of the Expo’s main highlights. The ceremony honored young scholars’ accomplishments and encouraged thousands of students to strive for academic excellence.

Additionally, the Expo included expert talks, one-on-one career counseling sessions, and practical workshops where students could get advice on industry trends, career planning, stream selection, and selecting programs that fit their goals in a changing global environment.
