The vibrant city of Kolkata recently witnessed a remarkable milestone in the realm of digital media with the grand launch of the new OTT platform, Click Canvas Entertainment, hosted at the Aquatica Banquet Resort. The glittering event celebrated the vision, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit of the platform’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Priyajit Paul, marking a fresh chapter for contemporary entertainment.

​The evening commenced on an auspicious note as Priyajit Paul, joined by his parents, inaugurated the ceremony with the traditional lighting of the lamp. This heartfelt gesture underscored the core values of family and cultural roots guiding the venture.

​The star-studded event welcomed several eminent dignitaries, including Jhargram MLA Lakshmikant Sahu and West Bengal Government Excise Department Joint Commissioner and renowned photographer Anupam Halder. Guests lauded Paul’s visionary initiative, extending their warm wishes for the platform’s future success.

​Addressing the gathering, Priyajit Paul reflected on the journey and said, “Our dream took root on August 27, 2025. Today, that dream has materialized on a grander scale. Our goal is to deliver wholesome, diverse, and quality entertainment to our audiences. Currently, we offer nearly 40 pieces of content spanning mystery, romance, thriller, and horror genres, with many more innovative projects on the way”.

​Beyond media, Paul is an established Bengali entrepreneur, successfully managing a well-known hotel in Tarapith and a picturesque homestay in Sittong, Darjeeling. Having carved a niche in tourism and hospitality, he is now channeling his expertise into digital entertainment. His ultimate mission is to build a robust launchpad for young Bengali writers, artists, and filmmakers, showcasing their talents to a global audience.

​Organization representatives confirmed that Click Canvas Entertainment plans to produce and stream original content in multiple Indian languages alongside Bengali, bridging regional talent with international standards.

​As the evening concluded, attendees praised Paul’s bold enterprise, expressing confidence that this youth-driven Bengali venture will significantly shape the future of Indian digital entertainment.
