The Friends of Tribals Society’s youth wing, FTS Yuva, hosted its yearly flagship event, the Ekal Run, at Godrej Waterside in Kolkata. Over 5,000 runners competed in three different timed categories: 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km, as well as a non-timed, enjoyable 3 km race. The run attracted participants of all ages.

The Ekal Run was inaugurated by Geeta Phogat, Wrestler, and was attended by Neel Bhattacharya, Actor, Rahul Dev Bose, Actor, Debadrita Basu, Actress, Soumojeet Adak, Director, A K Arya, DIG BSF, Surjeet Singh Guleria, Dy. Inspector General (G), HQ SDR (EC), BSF, CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, Vice President of ICAI, and many other eminent dignitaries.

The people who participated in the run were given T-shirts, Goodie bags, and Food boxes, and the winners and runners-up were felicitated with medals and mementos.
