Maatir Taane-Glimpses of Rural Bengal, an art exhibition by eminent painter Sandip Manna was inaugurated in the presence of renowned actor Barun Chanda.

After the formal ribbon cutting, the renowned Bengali actor along with Sandip Manna unveiled a fantastic painting on rural Bengal by the painter.

The aim of this art exhibition is to showcase the true stories of rural Bengal to the people. With the help of the pictures, the painter wants to take the raw essence of the rural areas of Bengal and present it to the urban population of the city.

Thirty water colour paintings by Sandip Manna were showcased at the painting.

The painter is also coming up with another exhibition named Katha O Kahini based on the unknown stories of Hindu mythology. The medium will be oil painting and this exhibition will happen in next December.

The exhibition will continue till 15^th June 2019.
