Zee Bangla’s latest serial is Saudaminir Sansar. The shooting of the serial is currently in progress at a studio in Pailan.

Saudamini is a girl who has lost both her parents at a young age. She lives with her grandfather. She gets married to Kondol (quarrelsome) family. Harishsadhan Mukherjee’s family has a gold coin passed on from past generations and the quarrels revolve around this coin. Saudamini gets married in the Mukherjee family and tries to resolve the conflicts within the family. What happens next?

The new serial is set in the 1950’s. The set has been made by Joy Chandra Chandra. He has made many periodicals. His last serial was Rani Rashmoni. He has made the set as authentic as possible to suit the time period of the 1950’s.

Sushmili who was last seen in the serial Prothom Protishruti will be seen in the role of Saudamini in the serial. “Acting in the serial in this heat is a huge problem. I have to wear a sari and this wig which is making it even difficult. We had an outdoor shoot in Bolpur and I was going mad due to the heat. On the work front, I am balancing my studies and acting. Whenever I am getting time, I am studying. Biswajit uncle is helping me a lot in my acting and Adhiraj and I have a lot of scenes where we are quarreling with each other” said the young actress.

Adhiraj who plays Shankar in the serial spoke about how his reel life home despite being called Shanti Nivas was devoid of any peace due to the regular quarrel between the family members.

Samir Biswas who plays the role of the ghost in the serial mentioned that he had worked in a play titled Manush Bhoot. His character name is Korali Mukherjee. And now he was working as a ghost in this serial and he will be seen in different places in the house. He can only be seen by his grandson, Harishsadhan Mukherjee. The actor said that his character is a funny one and will make the audiences laugh their hearts out.

Biswajit Chakraborty, Samir Biswas, Sumit Samaddar, Arindol Bagchi, Adhiraj, Sushmili and others will be seen in important roles in the serial.

The new serial will begin on 17^th June onward at 10.30 pm.
