On April 15, 2026, The Astor in Kolkata will host Boisakhi Bhuribhoj, a lavish culinary celebration to usher in the Bengali New Year. The specially designed festive buffet, which is priced at Rs *1599 plus taxes per person (without alcohol)* and Rs 2599 plus taxes per person (with alcohol), promises a sumptuous spread that honors Bengal’s rich and varied culinary legacy.

The menu takes diners on a nostalgic journey across regions and heirloom recipes, thoughtfully crafted to capture the essence of a traditional Bengali feast.

The menu consists of Kancha Aam-er Panna, Gondhoraj Lemongrass Doi-er Ghol, Bagh Bazar-er Lorar Chop, Birbhoom-er Mochar Cutlet, Bhetki Macher Croquettes, Murg Chakori Kebab, Bori Sukto, Chenar Mahima, Kodaisuti Dhokar Dalna, Pabda Macher Tel Jhal, Shorshe Pomfret, Dhonepata Chingri Malai Curry, Thakur Barir Bunglow Mangsho, Dhakai Chicken Rizala, Radha Ballavi, Basmati Pulao, dals, pickles and chutneys, Misti Doi, Gondhoraj Sandesh, Baked Mihidana, and Gurer Ice Cream with Nolen Gur.

There will be live counters serving Puchka and Papdi Chaat to patrons.
