Celebration Of Unique Skills & Cultural Spirit At Mridang 2K26

Mridang 2K26, JIS University’s premier intercollegiate cultural festival, brought together students from various institutions on a lively stage to display their skills, inventiveness, and cultural spirit while encouraging cooperation, camaraderie, and healthy competition.
The festival, which featured captivating dance performances, soulful musical renditions, captivating theatrical acts, and a variety of creative showcases, saw enthusiastic participation from a wide range of cultural disciplines. Special performances by well-known singer Mausam Mukherjee and the well-liked band Distorted Chromosome added to the excitement. While host Pratha Dixit maintained the energy and enthusiasm throughout the event, the Fakira Band’s spectacular finale captivated the audience and brought the festivities to a memorable conclusion.
Students, faculty, alumni, and notable visitors all responded enthusiastically to Mridang 2K26, solidifying its reputation as one of the most eagerly awaited cultural events on the academic calendar. Beyond just being entertaining, the festival provided a significant forum for cross-cultural communication, individual expression, leadership training, and overall student development.
