Chandra Chakraborty released her book Chhoy Tarer Tanpura recently in the presence of musical maestros Kumar Bose, Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, and Mashkoor Ali, and others.

The book is a collection of memories of Chandra Chakraborty with her Guruji AT Kanan and his wife Vidushi Malabika Kanan. With this book, she brings forward many musical memories as well as other experiences during her stay as a student at Sangeet Research Academy.

Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar said that this book must be read for knowing about the life and times of eminent music maestros like AT Kanan and Malabika Kanan. The way he taught voice modulations to his students is well remembered by the students of AT Kanan.

Chandra Chakraborty and her Kalakar Arts UK have been organizing programs on her guru AT Kanan for celebrating his birth centenary. Many other musical stalwarts of India have been part of this series. Kumar Bose praised Chandra Chakraborty for her devotion towards her Guru. He said that she has been blessed by the other musicians for showing such great devotion for her Guru.  He has himself taken part in two virtual tribute events to Guru AT Kanan.
