A condolence meeting of Girish Karnad, Ruma Guha Thakurta, Mrinal Mukherjee and Ramen Roy Chowdhury was organized by Human Rights C.P.D.R. India.

The condolence meeting was attended by Jojo, Human Rights C.P.D.R. India Secretary and artist Biplab Ghosh, Chairman Gitanath Ganguly and others graced the occasion.

Speaking at the occasion, Jojo said “Whatever good qualities I have, it is because of my father. He has imbibed in me qualities like punctuality and dedication towards my work. I have learnt a lot from him. Even many of his juniors have also learned a lot from him. Girish Karnad, Ruma Aunty and Ramen Uncle were such talented individuals. With their deaths, this is like an end of an era”.

The assembled guests put flowers before the pictures of the late personalities and showcased their respect towards them. A minute of silence was also observed for them.
