The press conference to announce the Corporate Double Wicket Cricket Tournament took place recently.

The event took place at Calcutta Sports Journalists’ Club and was graced by eminent personalities.

This Corporate Double Wicket Cricket Tournament is an initiative undertaken by the Howrah Union. The club completed its 100th year in 2023. Howrah Union is passionate about sports and has dedicated itself to nurturing and crafting young and local talent.

The Corporate Double Wicket Cricket Tournament is organized for two days. It is set in the Kolkata Maidan and Howrah Union grounds.

24 corporate teams will be participating in this cricket tournament. League matches will be played at the Mohammedan Sporting Ground on the 28th and 29th of January. Knockout matches will be played on 5th February at Eden Gardens.

The tournament will be played on three plates namely gold, silver, and bronze.

The trophy for the tournament was unveiled at the press conference.
