Great Response At Camps Organized By Metro Railway

Recently, at the Dum Dum Metro Railway station, a Free Eye Check-up Camp and Blood Donation Camp were held in honor of International Labor Day.
The Metro Railway Men’s Union, a staff union led by donor Shri Sujit Ghosh, took the initiative. The general public, passengers, and railway employees all enthusiastically participated in this camp. The free eye check-up camp benefited about ninety-six people.
Fifty volunteers gave blood at the blood donation camp, which was an encouraging response.

Among the enthusiastic donors were senior railway officials, including Shri S. S. Kannan, Secretary to General Manager and Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Dipto Saha, Dy. Chief Operations Manager (O&M).
Additionally, commuters on the metro came forward to give blood.
A great initiative indeed.
