In Kolkata and Greater Kolkata, A2 Milk, Probiotic Lassi, and Yogurt are popular premium dairy products. The Coorg Elaichi Lassi is a brand-new flavor from JOI Farm of the JIS Group. The company just introduced this flavor in honor of West Bengal’s Durga Puja.

Freshly collected from Kerala’s Coorg region’s fields, the flavor is naturally extracted. This rare type of cardamom, known locally as “Malay Yalakki,” is farmed on more than 11,000 hectares of land by many small and marginal farmers.

Cardamom has a lot of health benefits and medicinal values that are good for the human body:

1. Cardamom’s Antioxidant and Diuretic properties help people with high blood pressure and may lower it.
2. It helps in curing digestive problems including ulcers and other issues.
3. The use of cardamom to treat bad breath and improve oral health is an ancient cure.

JOI has launched two flavors of Lassi – Plain Lassi and Litchi Lassi. The Coorg Elaichi is the third flavor launched this Durga Puja.

It is unique because it is a Probiotic Lassi created with the proprietary BB12 probiotic from the Danish bioscience company Chr- Hansen, which is beneficial for boosting digestion and intestinal health. It is now the only probiotic lassi offered on the Eastern market. Since only 8 grams of sugar are utilized per 100 grams, it is a healthy option for customers. Instead of using artificial flavors, the cardamom flavor is naturally produced from actual spices. Since there are no additional preservatives, chemicals, antibiotics, or additions, the products’ quality is unaffected and speaks for itself.
