Disney+ Hotstar Premium to cater to the needs of the kids during the lock down period has come up with a new show for the kids titled Mira, Royal Detective.

The story revolves around Mira who is a brave and resourceful girl. She is appointed to the role of royal detective by the queen. Together with her friend Prince Neel – a talented inventor, Priya – her creative cousin, and comical mongoose sidekicks – Mikku and Chikku, they set out on mystery-solving adventures that encourage deductive reasoning for young viewers and encourages them to think creatively.

Freida Pinto along with popular South Asian artistes Leela Ladnier, Kal Penn, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Hannah Simone, Jameela Jamil, Aparna Nancherla, Aasif Mandvi, Karan Soni, Maulik Pancholy, Sarayu Blue and Sarita Choudhury s in the show.

Freida Pinto, who has voiced the character of Queen Shanti said that despite the show being an international show, the makers have retained the Indian elements in the show. The actress felt that this is a convergence of international appeal to Indian story.

The show began airing from 24th May on Disney+ Hotstar Premium.
