Mother Dairy’s New Pujo Campaign With Abir Chatterjee

As West Bengal prepares for its largest annual celebration, Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. (Delhi), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), is boosting festive spirits with a new campaign starring acclaimed Bengali actor Abir Chatterjee, expanding his collaboration beyond Mother Dairy Mishti Doi to include its Milk and Curd lines.
Launched in the lead-up to Durga Puja, this two-month campaign highlighting four new DVCs capitalizes on a period when homes and neighborhoods throughout the state buzz with celebration, unity, and tradition, reinforcing brand connections during everyday dairy moments. With Abir infusing his signature warmth and deep local connection into the messaging, Mother Dairy seeks to become a more familiar presence in consumers’ daily dairy routines, from a glass of milk to the bowl of curd that sits in homes across the country.
The Milk campaign, particularly highlighting Mother Dairy Cow Milk, and the Curd campaign vividly connect with everyday consumer moments while strengthening the brand’s established legacy and trust. Together, the DVCs uphold a simple concept: the affection West Bengal consumers have shown for Mother Dairy Mishti Doi can now be extended across the brand’s broader dairy range.
Actor Abir Chatterjee said, “In recent years, Mother Dairy Mishti Doi has been a delightful part of my story, and I’ve truly enjoyed watching how warmly people have embraced it. Taking this journey to include Milk and Curd feels very natural, as these are the everyday items that quietly appear in our homes daily. I’m pleased to be part of this new chapter, and I hope these films bring smiles to homes this holiday season”.
The newly launched campaign will be expanded across digital, OTT, outdoor, and other pertinent consumer channels to ensure ongoing visibility throughout the festive season and beyond. The campaign underscores Mother Dairy’s broader emphasis on enhancing its dairy offerings in West Bengal by merging its strong brand presence with culturally appropriate messaging and more meaningful connections with consumers.
