Poila Parbon 2026- A Special Celebration Of Bengali Culture

Through a citywide engagement initiative that culminated at Poila Parbon 2026, one of the city’s most anticipated cultural carnivals celebrating the vibrant spirit of Bengali culture, Himalaya Wellness joined the festivities as Kolkata welcomed the Bengali New Year with music, food, and community celebrations.
The four-day cultural extravaganza, which took place at Central Park, Karunamoyee, Salt Lake Bookfair Ground, brought together families, artists, businesspeople, and cultural enthusiasts for a lively celebration of Bengali customs and modern artistic expression. The festival once again demonstrated Kolkata’s enduring love for art, culture, and community through everything from live music and artisanal markets to food and cultural showcases.
Himalaya Wellness took part in the festivities as a sponsor, entertaining audiences with its Dark Spots Clearing Turmeric and Brightening Vitamin C range as well as several activations aimed at bringing skincare experiences closer to Kolkata residents.
A branded experiential van traveled the city for ten days in the run-up to the festival, giving residents of Kolkata a chance to learn more about the skincare advantages of the Dark Spots Clearing Turmeric range and Brightening Vitamin C range through product trials, sampling, and demonstrations. Through activations at ten prestigious universities, including St. Andrew’s College and New Alipore College, the initiative also reached the city’s student body, promoting discussions about straightforward, daily skincare regimens inspired by natural ingredients.

The festivities came to a head at Poila Parbon 2026, where Himalaya set up a special booth with the Turmeric and Vitamin C range, inviting attendees to peruse the goods while taking in the joyous ambiance. Additionally, the brand contributed to the lively cultural experience of the carnival by sponsoring the fashion show, having an on-site presence, and branding the event.
With live performances by modern Bengali musicians, an artisanal marketplace showcasing handloom textiles, terracotta, dokra art, and handcrafted creations from local makers, and a lively gastronomy pavilion serving traditional Bengali delicacies alongside Kolkata’s famous street food and regional specialties from throughout the state, the four-day carnival brought Bengal’s vibrant spirit to life. Younger audiences enthusiastically participated in creative workshops and cultural events, making the festival a vibrant event for both families and culture vultures. Poila Parbon 2026 once again confirmed its status as a beloved cultural event in Kolkata’s festive calendar, where tradition meets modern expression, and each visitor becomes a part of a shared story of Bangaliana.
