The REDMI Note 17 5G, the newest model in India’s most reliable smartphone lineup, was unveiled by Xiaomi India. With REDMI’s largest-ever 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery, a premium TrueColour AMOLED display, reliable Snapdragon performance, and long-term software support, the REDMI Note 17 is designed to eliminate battery anxiety and provide a full smartphone experience.

With a thin 8.4mm profile, the REDMI Note 17 boasts REDMI’s largest-ever 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery that can last up to three days of normal use. It has 22.5W reverse wired charging, 45W turbocharging with an included charger, and TÜV-certified battery longevity that maintains up to 80% battery health after 1,600 charging cycles.

The smartphone’s 12.75cm (6.9-inch) TrueColour AMOLED display, which has a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate, a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and a maximum brightness of 1800 nits, is intended for immersive everyday entertainment. The display is complemented by 200% volume speakers, TÜV Rheinland Eye Care certifications for improved viewing comfort, and HydroTouch 2.0 for better touch responsiveness in wet conditions.

The REDMI Note 17 maximizes power efficiency while providing seamless daily performance thanks to the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 mobile platform, which is based on a cutting-edge 4nm process. With a 10,416mm² graphite cooling system, 2TB expandable storage, up to 16GB RAM (including memory extension), and Xiaomi’s Long-Term Fluency Engine, the device can run smoothly for up to 48 months.

The REDMI Note 17 has an 8MP AI front camera and a 50MP AI dual rear camera for photography. AI-powered features include Night Mode, AI HDR, Dynamic Shots, AI Editor, and 2x in-sensor zoom.

The REDMI Note 17, which runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3, has four years of Android updates and six years of security updates. The smartphone comes in Dark Nite, Arctic Blue, and Starlight Purple and has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

The REDMI Note 17 will be available in Dark Night, Arctic Blue, and Starlight Purple in two storage variants:
