Following the phenomenal success of last year’s hit music video Single Life starring popular actress Koushani Mukherjee, young director Karan Aryan is gearing up for a grand return this festive season with an even bigger megaproject. Titled Shakti Diyo Durga Thakur, the upcoming Bengali music video is centered around Durga Puja and features a massive star-studded cast from both Tollywood and the professional dance community.

The vibrant dance number stars popular actors Aratrika Maity, Arya Dasgupta, Ricky Tiwari, Ankusree Maity, alongside Dance Bangla Dance– Champion of Champions winner Aditya Karmakar, and talented junior child artist Adolina Mitra.

Reflecting on his upcoming venture, director Karan Aryan shared, “Last year, Single Life received tremendous love and blessings from the audience, carving a special place in everyone’s hearts, which remains my greatest reward. This Durga Puja, I am bringing a completely different gift. Tailored primarily for audiences, this high-energy dance track beautifully weaves together the emotions of love and festive joy. I hope viewers embrace and bless this project just as warmly as they did last year”.

Highlighting the scale of the production, the director added that working with such a stellar, multi-talented ensemble has been an absolute honor. Alongside the lead actors, the music video boasts a massive troupe of nearly 100 dancers, promising an energetic visual spectacle for the audience.

The musical arrangement will be helmed by prominent composer Lincoln Roy Choudhury, while Giridhari Gorai will be handling the camera work. With pre-production work moving forward at a rapid pace, official shooting is scheduled to commence on September 6.

Industry insiders are already abuzz with rumors that Shakti Diyo Durga Thakur is just the beginning, as Aryan reportedly has multiple musical surprises lined up for the festive season. Scheduled for a premiere timed around Mahalaya, this ambitious project aims to capture the true spirit of Bengal’s greatest autumn festival. As preparations peak, all eyes are on the young director to see if his grand vision successfully wins over audiences once again.
