Ltd. in collaboration with Barsha Movies, is a touching homage to the great musician Zubeen Garg, honoring his legacy, music, and the emotional bond he has with millions of fans throughout Bengal and Assam.
The film centers on the journey of Vishal, a struggling singer who has been greatly inspired by Zubeen Garg since he was a young child. Love You Zubeen Da promises to tell a moving and motivational tale that appeals to viewers of all ages through dreams, hardships, relationships, and music.
“This film has been very close to my heart since its inception. This journey has been made even more memorable by working with such an amazing cast and crew. Every day spent on the set serves as a reminder of our motivation for creating this movie: to honor music, feelings, and the affection that people have for Zubeen Da. We are working hard to produce a movie that Bengali and Assamese viewers will love,” said director Shree Pritam.
The emotional bond that a number of senior artists have with Zubeen Garg is among the most endearing elements of the movie. Because of his love and respect for Zubeen Garg, veteran actor Paran Bandopadhyay, who portrays Jiniya’s grandfather, agreed to participate in the project right away. His connection to the movie was made even more significant by his passion for music and profound regard for the renowned singer.
In Love You Zubeen Da, veteran director and actor Abhijit Guha, who brought Zubeen Garg to Bengali cinema as a music director with the movie Shudhu Tumi, portrays Jiniya’s father. His long-standing relationship with Zubeen Garg gives the project an additional degree of sincerity and feeling.
Celebrated Assamese actress Geetawali Rajkumari, who plays Jiniya’s mother in the movie, joins the cast. Driven by her deep respect and affection for Zubeen Garg, she accepted the film without hesitation because she was one of the people who had a close relationship with him. She traveled from Assam to Kolkata to take part in the shoot, demonstrating the project’s emotional significance for all those involved.
Barsha Sengupta, who plays the female lead opposite Iqbal Rahimi, makes her big-screen debut in this movie. Partha Pratim Goswami, Violina Bordoloi, Sourav Chattopadhyay, Madhumita Gupta, and a number of other talented actors make up the ensemble cast.
It is crucial to remember that Love You Zubeen Da is not a Zubeen Garg biopic. Rather, it is a sincere homage motivated by the love, respect, and emotional influence that the legendary musician has had on innumerable individuals.
Love You Zubeen Da is developing into a poignant musical drama honoring dreams, emotions, and the enduring cultural bond between Bengal and Assam, with its ongoing shoot going smoothly and a team brought together by sincere admiration for Zubeen Garg.
