In the august presence of Dr Sourav Das and Dr Uttam Agarwal, a press meet was organized to shed light on the different sleep disorders, preventive methods and also on how to sleep peacefully at night.

Sleep problems has grown exponentially over the years. Due to extreme work pressure, people to suffer from sleep related problems. A healthy sleep is necessary to keep diseases at bay.

Speaking at the event, Dr Das mentioned that most sleep disorders are preventable or treatable. However less than one third of sufferers seek professional help. Better understanding of sleep conditions will help in reducing sleep disorders in the society.

The doctors shed light on sleep hygiene for adults. Some of the tips shared by the doctors were fixing a bedtime and an awakening time, using comfortable bedding, exercising regularly, avoiding caffeine 6 hours before bedtime, avoiding excessive alcohol and so on.

With the help of such methods, one can prevent poor quality of nocturnal sleep, serious sleep deprivation, short duration of sleep and so on.
