Upcoming Bengali short film Phone Call deals with people judging others even before knowing the actual truth. The story begins ten years ago when people used to use simple mobile phones. Many friendships developed over calls from unknown numbers. In a similar way a girl started talking with a boy and they found love. They decided to meet each other. However the boy did not turn up at the meeting. The girl misunderstands him. It is later revealed that the boy died in an accident on his way to meet her.

Soumi Das, Akash Banerjee, Mukul Banerjee have acted in pivotal roles in the film.

The shooting has been done at Bakkhali.
