The trailer and poster launch of upcoming Bengali films Ebar Shalyajit and Paanch Quaidi was organized recently. Present at the occasion was the cast and crew of the film.

Ebar Shalyajit is directed by Tuhin-Rahul while Paanch Quaidi is directed by Tutul Banerjee.

The film Ebar Shalyajit is a detective film which follows the footsteps of films like Feluda, Byomkesh and Kakababu. Shom and Shalyajit meet each other during their morning exercise. They develop a friendship. Shom is murdered. To unravel the murder of Shom, detective Shalyajit takes up the job. Soumitra Chatterjee, Madhabi Mukherjee, Subrata Banerjee, Sanjay Sinha will be seen in pivotal roles in the film. Soumitra Chatterjee will be seen in the role of a villain in the film.

The music of the film is by Nirveek Goswami. The film has been shot in North Bengal, Sikkim and Kolkata.

The film Paanch Quaidi deals with the lives of five innocent boys who goes to the jail due to the conspiracy of political leaders. They develop a friendship between them. One day they all run away from the jail. Will they be able to start a new life or will they face more trouble?

Soumitra Chatterjee, Reena Chowdhury, Lokesh Ghosh, Romen Roy Chowdhury, Santwana Basu, Debraj Roy and others will be seen in important roles in the film.

Nirveek Goswami has composed the music of the film.

The films are eyeing for release soon.
