Bratya Basu (Minister of Science & Technology & Biotechnology), Harendra Singh( Chairman, Dumdum Municipal Corporation ) inaugurated the Dumdum Utsav 2019 at Lichubagan ground(Gorabazar). The festival has been initiated by the Dumdum Municipal Corporation.

The festival will continue till 9^th of January. Sudesh Bhosle, Akriti Kakkar, Shreya Ghoshal and others will be performing on various days for the audiences.

Stalls by famous food joints of the city will also be found at this festival. Fun rides will also be available for the people visiting the festival.

Apart from the cultural events, flower exhibition, sit and draw competition, cooking competition and other such activities will be done on the various days of the festival.
