NEET Candidate Shrishti Dubey Now Released From ILS Hospitals

Ms. Shrishti Dubey, an 18-year-old NEET candidate from Liluah, Howrah, was released from ILS Hospitals, Dum Dum. This announcement signifies the end of an incredible journey of survival, resiliency, and resolve following a difficult, life-saving cardiothoracic trauma surgery.
Dr. Samarth Acharya, Consultant Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon, ILS Hospitals Dumdum, said, “Her resolve remained unwavering despite the breaking of nine ribs. Today, she leaves the intensive care unit and enters her future. We were motivated to redefine possibilities by Shrishti. She demonstrated to us that courage is choosing your dream over your fear rather than being pain-free. She reminded a hospital full of medical professionals that we safeguard futures in addition to saving lives. She showed us that even when lungs are unable to breathe, willpower can. She was more than just a storm survivor. In the midst of it, she took an exam. She became the bravest lesson we have ever learned as a result”.
One of the hospital’s most serious trauma cases was Shrishti’s. She suffered numerous life-threatening injuries from a serious car accident, including nine fractured ribs, a torn left lung, a severed airway, and severe orthopedic and facial trauma. The skilled multidisciplinary team at ILS Hospitals, Dum Dum, performed an eight-hour emergency surgery. Despite the seriousness of her illness, she showed incredible fortitude and recovered quickly from critical care and rehabilitation.

What transpired after her surgery turned into a tale of remarkable determination. After only a few days of recuperation, Shrishti expressed her unwavering resolve to take the NEET UG exam and started to walk. She successfully showed up for her examination under medical supervision and oxygen support in an unprecedented effort involving medical teams, hospital administration, and civic authorities, signifying bravery beyond clinical bounds.
The medical staff who supported her during this crucial stage honored her journey as she was released.
Shrishti’s release signifies not only the conclusion of her medical journey but also the start of a new life characterized by fortitude, optimism, and the unwavering spirit of a young idealist who overcame hardship to become an inspiration.
